No push-to-talk and no wake word. It hears when you stop, answers out loud, and files everything into a memory you can question later.

Talk like a person.

Echo-cancelled listening means it knows when you've finished. Interrupt mid-sentence and it stops and listens.

Capture by voice, shaped by Skills.

Meetings, session notes, an idea on a walk — transcribed, then formatted with templates like SOAP notes or Meeting Minutes.

Why offline

The one you're allowed to use.

If your work is privileged, cloud AI isn't an option. Tara never sends a word off your machine — so lawyers, therapists, and doctors can keep an assistant without breaking a duty of confidentiality.

Nothing to leak
There is no server holding your transcripts, so there is nothing to breach, subpoena, or quietly train on.
Works with Wi-Fi off
A plane, a basement clinic, a site with no signal — behaviour is identical because nothing was remote to begin with.
Yours to remove
Delete the file and the memory is gone. No export request, no retention window, no dashboard to trust.
