Offline · dictation in any app

Speak anywhere. It types for you.

Press ⌃T and talk: the words land where your cursor is, in Mail, Slack, your editor, a browser form. Transcribed on-device, so a private message stays private.

Mac (Apple Silicon). No spam, one email when it's ready.

outbound requests. Watch it in Little Snitch if you like.
⌃T
one shortcut, anywhere on your Mac. Remappable in Settings.

speech model, on your disk. Nothing to call, nothing to wait for.
Any app
Mail, Slack, Xcode, a browser form — wherever the cursor is.
Tara Flow · what it does

One shortcut. Every text field on your Mac.

No per-app setup, no browser extension, no paste step. Flow types into whatever is in front of you, at the speed you speak.

01 / Anywhere

Any app, any text field.

Mail, Slack, Notes, Xcode, a form in Safari. If the cursor blinks there, Flow can type there — no per-app setup and no clipboard round-trip.

⌃T to start and stop. Remappable in Settings.
02 / On-device

Speech never leaves the Mac.

Parakeet TDT 0.6B v3 runs locally in its own pipeline, separate from Tara's. Airplane mode changes nothing about how it behaves.

0 requests out. ~670MB on disk.
03 / Cleaned up

Spoken words, written text.

A local cleanup model trims filler, fixes punctuation, resolves your self-corrections, and writes numbers, dates and money properly.

"um, send it — uh, no, friday, twelve hundred bucks" → "Send it Friday, $1,200."

Why offline

The one you're allowed to use.

If your work is privileged, cloud dictation isn't an option. Flow never sends a word off your machine — so lawyers, therapists, and doctors can dictate a note without breaking a duty of confidentiality.

Nothing to leak
There is no server holding your dictation, so there is nothing to breach, subpoena, or quietly train on.
Works with Wi-Fi off
A plane, a basement clinic, a site with no signal — behaviour is identical because nothing was remote to begin with.
No paste step
Text is typed straight into the app you're in, so a transcript never sits in a clipboard or a scratch document.
